DISCLAIMER I have in no way received any payment for my work on this mod. This mod was made for the sole purpose of enjoyment of making it. Star Trek is a registered trademark of Viacom / Paramount Pictures. Enjoy the Mod :) 07-01-2008 The move to a new host has been mostly completed. Currently there are no plans on the table to update either the STM or the AST Mods. But please keep sending in bug reports.
10-07-2007 Both AST 2.0 and the Star Trek Mod have been updated. I have begun work on my Star Wars mod. Space Empires V official patch 1.54 or 1.55 is due out any day now.
09-24-2007 Sorry for lacks of updates and news. I have just released version 1.9.7.4 of the Star Trek Mod. This will be the final update for this mod barring any major bug issues. It has been an honor working on this mod over the years and I want to personally thank everyone for all their help and for playing the mod.
I currently have no plans on making a mod for Space Empires V. Too much work and no real way to incorporate any Star Trek ship Sets into the game without major problems.
I am however working on finalizing the AST Mod 2.0 and will hopefully have it released in a day or so. I will then begin work on my Star Wars mod for Space Empires IV.
02-12-2007 Version 1.9.6.2 is now available
11-17-2006 I know it has been a good long while since I have updated this page. I am sorry for that, just slipped my mind. Any ways NASY is no more. I could not afford to keep that site going. SE V is out and in stores now. The STM is up to version 1.9.6.1 And you can download it from the download page. 12-17-2005 Version 1.9.2.6 Deluxe is now available. 09-03-2005 Version 1.9.2.4 contained a major AI error that has since been corrected in this FIX patch. If you have downloaded the STM v1.9.2.4 Patch or Full version please install this fix. 09+01-2005 Version 1.9.2.4 is now ready for download. Please report any bugs to startrekmod@astempire.net
06-20-2005 Version 1.9.2.2 is now ready for download. Please report any bugs to startrekmod@astempire.net
06-01-2005 (38605) Work on the Star Trek Mod continues. I have updated a lot of the information on this site to reflect the recent changes. Currently version 1.9.2.1 is in testing and hopefully within a few day either that version or a later one will be released. I have also replaced the Romulan War Bird image with a new one. I do not know who made the DOGA model parts for this but I owe them a great thanks. And thank you to Rene for sending them to me. I am also working on two additional sets, one a post TMP era set, and the other, a pre-TOS era set. I will make a duplicate pre-TOS era set that will become a Mirror Universe set as well. 04-10-2005 (38295 Well its official, the new home for the Star Trek Mod is www.astempire.net. I want to thank Fyron for all of his help in getting things set up. Thank You Fyron. Unless you have been in a cave for the last twenty days, www.malfdor.com has changed their website and posted information about Space Empires V and the beta list.
03-11-2005 (37806) Do to some issues with www.onewebhosting.com and their unwillingness to help, I have had to make arrangements to purchase a new plan from them. This additional monthly cost will most likely spell the end for this site unless I can get it hosted by another Space Empires IV web site. I really want to yell and scream about how one web hosting has treated me, as their solution to the problem was to insist that I spend more money rather than identifying the problem. They believe that the Downloads are consuming a vast amount of CPU and MEMORY resources and therefore they insisted that I change plans. However no where in any of the documentation that I have, or that they have posted, does it say that CPU and Memory resources are limited. Fyron believes, as does Captain Kwok, that my host is simply attempting to cheat me. As we all know Fyrons site as well as the pbw site, host downloads that make my site look tiny, and neither of them have had any problems with CPU or Memory resources. Fyron even pointed out that, and given his back ground and abilities I trust his opinion without question, that it is a HOST issue and that they may have over booked the server and that is what is most likely causing the problem. No matter, I have had to make a decision to end the issue and I hope it does. 03-01-2005 (37554) Something I tried in the latest version did not work properly so here is the fix. STM v 1.9.1.2 Fix You only need to download the fix if you have downloaded any of the STM v 1.9.1.2 files before 2.am March 1st. If you download after this date and time, you are ok, you will not need the fix.
02-28-2005 (37546) New Version Released Star Trek Mod version 1.9.1.2 has just been released. For information on this latest release please review the Revision History Report any bugs to the OFFICIAL MOD FORUM 02-07-2005 (37183) The work on the Federation sets is nearly completed. The STGN, TMP, DS9, and UCP sets are all but finished say for the troop images. The Star Trek Mod has had over a 1,000 plus downloads since version 1.9.0.0 was released back on November 14th, 2004. (That makes the mod a definite hit.) The ATROCITIES STAR TREK MOD (AST mod) is no longer supported. I want to thank everyone who downloaded the mod and a special thanks to CNC for all of his work with the mod. The beta testing continues with the latest version of the mod, v1.9.1.2 and is on target for February 28th release date. The new neutral race set is completed and all of the neutral races will now use this new set. Also all of the minor empires now have there own new ship sets. Visit the Mods OFFICIAL FORUM to read more. 02-02-2005 Enterprise Cancelled Yep its true, UPN has cancelled Star Trek sighting that it no longer fit in with their targeted Demographic, we all know what that is, programming. The word is that there is no one left at Paramount / Viacom / CBS / UPN that will champion the series and market it to another net work or all it to go into syndication as they did orginaly with STNG and DS9. While I am deeply saddened by the sudden, yet expected, cancellation of Enterprise, especially now that the stories are becoming very interesting, I know that all good thing must to come to an end. I do hope that Paramount / Viacom / CBS / UPN will pull their collective heads out of their asses and reconsider their decision to cancel Enterprise, and at least market it to another network. If they can do it for Jag and Stargate, then why not for Enterprise?
01-21-2005 (36905) I have nearly completed work on the Federation sets. Star Trek Next Generation (STNG) The mod has also reached a mild stone with 672 Downloads since its release on 11/14/2003 01-07-2005 (36694) Come on over and post in the Official Mod Forum Right now we are discussing the Federation ships I am working on. 01-05-2005 Well we did it, 500 plus downloads in less than two months. Needless to say I am ecstatic over this mild stone accomplishment. David Gervais has posted a few more digital posters for the folks who play this mod. 01-04-2005 Well the web site update has gone well. I want to express my sincere thanks to David Gervais for all of his help and for all of the great artwork he has made for this site.
